New dealership showroom for Elton Garages Oldham

As architects for the R.R.G. Group, Pulmann Associates were appointed to develop a new dealership showroom with full service facilities for their Peugeot franchise.

The site is on the main A62 Manchester road Oldham on the site of a former factory.

After partial demolition and making good to the factory unit the new dealership sits in the middle of a recessed site surrounded by car display and feature landscaping.

The building is modern in appearance with finely ribbed composite panels to the main elevations punctuated by simple glazed elements affording views into the showroom displays. The walls are finished in the Peugeot corporate colours of blue with yellow contrasting with silver panels of the service end of the building.

The main entrance is set within a full height planar wall offset from the main building and incorporates the Peugeot lion motif.
