Erfurt International Airport

New passenger car park building soon to be on site adjacent to the main terminal building.

Production drawings are currently in progress for this new multi-storey car park for passengers using Erfurt International Airport, Germany. The main frame for this structure is of castellated steel beams and concrete decks. Smooth concrete balustrade panels with bold tubular rails follow the strong horizontal lines of the decks whilst the lifts/stair towers by contrast provide vertical emphasis. Feature panels with sloping sides and circular perforations mirror similar design elements in the adjacent main terminal building, as does the steel marker canopy over the vehicle entry/exit points.
